16th of October: Open Lecture by Karyl Fritsche - Promoting Sustainable Agriculture Policies and Procedures in the United States
On October 16, starting at 2:15 p.m., Karyl Fritsche, resource conservationist of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), will give a public lecture on topic "Promoting Sustainable Agriculture Policies and Procedures in the United States". She provides an overview of her agency's role, the work they do, the challenges facing their topography and resources, the tools they use to assess and mitigate problems, and the policies in place that lead to change at the local level. The lecture is held in English.
Karyl Fritsche arrives in Estonia as a US Embassy Science Fellow and will stay here until November 4.
