On June 19th, 2023, a PhD student Raul Sampaio de Lima will have a preliminary defence of PhD thesis on "Modeling the risk of landscape fires using multi-sensor remote sensing data".

The pre-defence will take place in room 2C5 at the Forest House (Kreutzwaldi 5) at 16.00 and it can also be watched via the video bridge https://videosild.emu.ee/b/kal-kmu-fkx

The supervisors of the dissertation are Professor Kalev Sepp, Dr. Mait Lang and Dr. Ants Vain. The pre-opponent is Professor Tõnu Oja (Tartu Ülikool)
